Magazine Alters the color of President Obama swim trunks and brings sexy back
23 AprAttention world! Magazines alter photos all the time. And until people put their foot down, it will continue to make people feel like shit. Photo altering is a big part of the reason why teenage girls hate their hair, skin, and their bodies.
Thank god people are starting to balk back at magazine for trying to fuck with reality. If magazine can distort images, imagine what they can do with a story. If you want the public’s trust, report the truth. I think Washington Magazine chose to make the shorts red and did some “minor” retouching to make it go with their “hottest” headline. It’s lame. But I imagine they’re selling lots of issues. Despite it being deceptive.
I don’t honestly care seeing the President in swimming trunks. He’s human after all. I just think it’s shitty that the magazine chose not to keep it real.
Here are the original photos:
Who designed the Obama logo?
22 JanThe Obama logo was really quite amazing. Simple. Patriotic. Moving. The iconic logo was created by designer Sol Sender. A few months ago, he gave an interview to The New Times about the logo, the process and how he was given the project. Check out Sol Sender’s interview here.
On a side note, doesn’t it kind of look like the Amtrak medallion logo influenced the “O”bama logo?
