OMG! There are so many ridiculous things about this site that I’m not exactly sure where to begin.

Hautelook.com is the absolute worst place to shop, because:

-As the name implies, it’s exclusive, you must sign up to access the HauteLook sales. And then once you do, you can get emails EVERY SINGLE DAY to promote all of the sales.

-The shipping on HauteLook is insane! I bought $50 worth of merchandise and the shipping was $16. I know, I’m pretty stupid for agreeing to that.

-The shipping is slow as hell. I bought my items on 8/7. It is 9/9 and they are still not here.

-The HauteLook customer service is lame. Very poor communication and unprofessional emails. One sentence emails. What company does that?

I am very disappointed with HauteLook and would recommend that you don’t waste your money or your time.

    What! Really! I haven’t had that experience on Hautelook at all. I buy from them at least 2-4 times a month. Ya shipping can take up to two weeks (at the longest – I’d say mine’s been around 8 days usually), but I really love the brands that they have (and with most of the stuff being like half off, i’d say it’s worth the wait). That’s so weird to hear you say that! haha

    I don’t mind getting the daily emails about their sales, because otherwise I would forget to look. And they have a lot of my favorite designers with huge discounts! It’s kind of amazing. And yeah, worth the wait for sure!

    Hautelook sucks! First of all, I love that the folks at Hautelook noticed my comments and then decided to post FAKE comments in my blog to counter what I said. How come there are no profiles to go with the people leaving comments? Anyway, it took Hautelook ONE MONTH to deliver the goods–after I spent $16 for standard shipping. I have a baby and we all know fast they grow. And I bought summer clothes and now it’s cold. Hautelook has nice brands, but seriously waiting one month and paying almost $20 in shipping is ridiculous. And the wait is not worth it.

    They must have lowered the shipping since then. I just bought an Oscar De La Renta bag for 160 and shipping was 7.50

    I bought two Technomarine watches which turned out to be fake. Boo that! I hope they give my money back!

    I TOTALLY AGREE!!! Their shipping takes FOREVER and I have had a total of SEVEN short sales in the last 2 months. Granted I got a credit back, but WTF, I am scared to even buy anything ever again because it probably will end up as a short sale! HAUTELOOK SUCKS!! Too bad I have a $90 credit :/ I’m trying to find stuff to give as gifts, but I have to plan ahead since I know it will take a month just to ship. I’m glad you posted this!

    So annoying, I ordered bags in June and they are just on their way now..All of the sample sale sites charge expensive shipping—I think I paid 8.95 for one order that was 52 dollars, and 6.95 for an order that was 23. really stupid. They should reduce their shipping costs, if you buy a small item!

    I completely agree – their service, and shipping/return is the worst I have seen in the US. I have purchased shirt once and it turned out they don’t have it in stock. It takes 1 month for shipment/return to be delivered. Nordstorm should look better after their baby.

    Completely agree!! Worst online shopping experience ever! The first time I never received all of the items I purchased, something about not enough inventory which I understand but it took 3 months for them to refund my money. Then this last and final time I had other issues and called their customer service only to be treated like an idiot and my issue un resolved. Now over a month later I still have not received my order. No amount of credits added to my account this time with be worth the hassle.
