Help Matt Denson help Haiti

This is a message from my friend’s husband, Matt Denson. He wants to personally help Haitians. He is not asking for money. He is asking for transportation so he can transport some heavy-duty equipment that can help save lives. If you know anyone who can help him get there, please get in touch with him.

Here’s his message to the world:

ALL I WANT IS INFORMATION FROM YOU.

Get this out via Facebook, twitter, myshpace, whatever, contact the highest military brass you know and email this or fax it.

SAVE HAITIANS LIVES NOW, GET ME ON A SHIP.

I CAN SAVE TRAPPED HAITIANS NOW! WE ALL KNOW SOMEBODY THAT KNOWS SOMEBODY.  GET ME ON A SHIP! TRAPPED SURVIVERS HAVE VERY LITTLE TIME.  I’M A FORMER MARINE, CARRY A VALID PASSPORT, AND HAVE A RARE new 20 TON MACHINE THAT CAN SAVE LIVES.

I’m completely self sufficient, have disaster experience and can be wherever I need to be within 8 hours of a phone call.

I’m VOLUNTEERING my services for as long as I can fund and sustain myself. I have enough supplies to sustain for one month, including:

• satellite phone (satellite service)
• 3g laptop (Verizon Service)
• cell phone (AT&T)
• antibiotics
• first aid
• diesel
• water
• food
• mosquito nets
• tarps

I‘m a father of 4, first aid and CPR certified, physically fit ½ marathon runner, and have my own company. I’m running into red tape. I want to get on a ship NOW. I can save lives. I’m very good at what I do, and have the equipment to do it with no support from anyone. Only 1 other person may accompany me; so 2 personnel, 1 excavator/bull dozier (see photo below). DON’T tell me no. Please get me on a ship, or a large aircraft that can handle 20 tons, approximately 40,800 pounds.

Sponsors are welcome once we’re on the ground to sustain us for longer durations. I’m prepared to be in Haiti for at least 6 months. I don’t want any money until I run out of my own funds in about a month. This is my calling, I want to help!
