A year ago, a new website called AirBnb.com popped up. AirBnb.com lets people like you and me advertise our couches, beds, etc. as places to crash.
It’s a great idea for people who want to save money and are adventurous. What makes it really worthwhile are the rates people charge. You can stay in New York City for as little as $25 a night, a villa in Indonesia for $120 a night, or even a villa in Italy for $35. Click here to check out AirBnB.
If you’re want to travel, but you’re living paycheck to paycheck, consider Couch Surfing. Couch Surfing is an international program that lets you crash on people’s couches in over 230 countries and in return, you allow them to crash on your couch. It’s a really cool concept and I wish this had been around when I was in college. Click here to visit the Couch Surfing website to learn more.
